The period wasn't forecasted but came in two parts.
1. 15-18 April.
The 15-18 April period came with a brief Kp4/5 aurora early on 16 April.
Quakes soon followed and a big eruption at Ruang.
The spectacular Ruang eruption came exactly at the height of the aurora on 16 April 1435UTC.
The New Britain 6.5 was hardly surprising given the area was a risk location from the previous forecast period and quakes during April were all in the Western Pacific.

2. 19-28 April.
A 6 hour Kp7 geomagnetic storm on 19 April from 15 April multiple filament eruptions as several active sunspots crossed central meridian, firing off multiple small coronal mass ejections and followed by the arrival of a Kp5 solar windstream from CH1215 on 27 April.
This made for a long period of 9 days.
Pacific quakes picked up strongly with the coronal hole windstream on 27 April, including New Zealand.
