The period wasn't forecasted but quakes followed the geomagnetic storms.
Local quakes were quiet through the 15-18 Pacific quake period.
Local quakes picked up strongly during the 26-28 April Pacific quake period as the Sun fired multiple small coronal mass ejections and a coronal hole windstream from 26 April.
Two quakes from the period matched risk locations from the previous 5-6 April forecast map and a no brainer forecast location.
Eastern Taranaki Bight and Tararua Ranges have been busy quake locations recently.
The Kapiti Island 4.3 occurred at the same moment as the very deep 500km Bonin Islands 6.5....a mere coincidence to the sceptic.
A new quake period is due late on 1 May when a mild solar windstream from CH1217 arrives.
